Hello!!! My name is Dave Kallenbach, and I am the lead pastor here at 37North. My wife (who is an amazing person!) and daughter (who I love beyond words) and I moved here in August of 2010, and I can say that we have fallen in love with the Detroit Metro are. We have found it to be a place to live, a place to work, a place to build relationships, and a place to help build God's Kingdom. We love the openness, and friendliness, of the community of the Downriver are, as well as the great group of people that are at our church. My life verse is Philippians 2:5, which states: "Your attitude should be the same as Christ Jesus..." That is what I strive to be and do.
A few things about me: I am going to be a Daddy again in September with our second child! I am very excited about this opportunity to help bring someone into the world, and to love them as much as I can. I love golf, although I haven't played in some time (since the fall of 04!). I am a Mac (Apple Computer) guy, so if you are a PC, I just wanted to let you know that I won't hold it against you! I also love spending time with friends and my Bible, ad I love riding my Suzuki Hayabusa!

I accepted Jesus as my Savior as a small child. It wasn’t until I was 28 however that I totally committed my life to Him and shortly after experienced a call to pastoral ministry. I was ordained in 2008. My passion primarily focuses on leading the body to “Be the Church” as they follow Jesus. I believe that all who have chosen to follow Jesus regardless of age are The Church and have the privilege to participate as such.
I have served on 9 short term mission trips including international and state side. I have found these to be a catalyst in the lives of those who have joined me to better love and serve their neighbors when they return. I also have desire to partner with local mission roles in the communities nearby. My heart hear is found in a lot of Isaiah 58.
Randy is my amazing husband and partner. We have four teens in our home; a niece, a nephew, a daughter and a son. Parenting teens has been the most challenging yet rewarding thing I have ever done.
